Job Summary
Connecticut Licensed Scheduler, this full-time remote position involves managing clinical ambulatory scheduling requests using the EPIC system while ensuring exceptional service to patients and providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and respond to scheduling requests, directing urgent calls to appropriate personnel
- Build and modify provider schedules, resolving conflicts and notifying patients of changes
- Coordinate appointments for diagnostic tests, surgical procedures, and departmental meetings
Required Qualifications
- Four years of related work experience, with two years in a similar role, or an Associate degree with two years of experience
- Experience in a high-volume healthcare call center or medical practice preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and experience with electronic medical record systems
- Proficiency in using multi-line telephones and scheduling software
- Ability to handle confidential patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
