Job Summary

Connecticut Licensed Scheduler, this full-time remote position involves managing clinical ambulatory scheduling requests using the EPIC system while ensuring exceptional service to patients and providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and respond to scheduling requests, directing urgent calls to appropriate personnel
  • Build and modify provider schedules, resolving conflicts and notifying patients of changes
  • Coordinate appointments for diagnostic tests, surgical procedures, and departmental meetings
Required Qualifications
  • Four years of related work experience, with two years in a similar role, or an Associate degree with two years of experience
  • Experience in a high-volume healthcare call center or medical practice preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and experience with electronic medical record systems
  • Proficiency in using multi-line telephones and scheduling software
  • Ability to handle confidential patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
