Job Summary
To provide comprehensive clinical ambulatory scheduling for providers, the full-time Connecticut Licensed Scheduler will evaluate scheduling requests, manage patient appointments, and ensure exceptional service while working remotely within Connecticut.
Key responsibilities
- Assess urgency of calls and provide assistance or direct callers to the appropriate resources
- Build and modify provider master schedules and clinic calendars, accommodating changes as necessary
- Schedule patient appointments, resolve conflicts, and notify patients of changes or cancellations
Required qualifications
- Four years of related work experience, including two years in a similar role, or an Associate degree with two years of related experience
- Proven experience in a high-volume healthcare scheduling environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in using the EPIC scheduling system
- Ability to handle confidential patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
