Job Summary
Seeking a temporary Connecticut Licensed Workers' Compensation Adjuster, this full-time remote position will adjudicate complex indemnity claims, manage litigation, and report on claims trends, with a projected end date of October 9, 2026.
Key responsibilities:
- Adjudicate higher technical complexity workers' compensation claims with direct impact on departmental results
- Investigate claims thoroughly, including interviewing involved parties and managing claims in litigation
- Prepare reports and negotiate settlements while ensuring timely resolution and proper claim reserves
Required qualifications:
- Minimum of five years' experience adjudicating workers' compensation claims in Connecticut and Massachusetts
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
- Connecticut Workers' Compensation Adjuster license required
- Strong claim negotiation skills and business acumen
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and other business-related software
