Construction Claims VP

Job Summary

To support a high-performing Construction & Infrastructure Claims Team, the remote full-time Construction Claims VP will manage day-to-day operations, mentor team members, and provide strategic oversight on complex claims portfolios while ensuring alignment with client objectives and service expectations.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and operational direction for the Construction Claims Team, managing and mentoring team members to enhance performance
• Oversee complex construction claims portfolios, ensuring alignment with client objectives and executing claims management strategies across various lines of coverage
• Serve as a senior escalation point for significant claims matters, guiding internal teams on coverage strategy and exposure management

Required qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience in construction claims or complex commercial casualty with leadership responsibilities
• Extensive knowledge of construction-related insurance programs and claims management, including Commercial General Liability (CGL) claims
• Proven track record of managing and developing teams, ensuring performance and quality standards
• Strong strategic and operational leadership skills, with the ability to implement claims management protocols and best practices
• Advanced analytical skills with experience in data analytics and benchmarking to drive strategy and continuous improvement
