Construction Cost Controls Manager

Job Summary

Supporting major data center and mission-critical capital programs, the full-time Construction Cost Controls Manager will manage construction cost controls, budget management, and financial reporting primarily in a remote capacity with minimal travel.

Key responsibilities

• Manage construction cost controls for data center fit-out, retrofit, modernization, and new build programs
• Review contractor and vendor invoices, analyze change orders, and maintain alignment between budgets and actual costs
• Prepare monthly cost reports and coordinate with various teams to support financial closeout activities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Finance, Business, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in construction cost controls or related capital project delivery roles
• Strong knowledge of construction cost control processes, including forecasting and invoice review
• Experience with large-scale construction projects, particularly in data center or mission-critical environments
• Proficiency in analytical tools, particularly Excel, for financial reporting and data analysis
