Job Summary

A company is looking for a Construction Counsel to support part-time legal needs related to construction and design contracts.

Key Responsibilities

Provide legal support for office expansion projects, including new floor build-outs and temporary space
Review and negotiate construction and design contracts, particularly AIA contracts
Operate independently with minimal oversight while managing transactional aspects of construction projects

Required Qualifications

7+ years of experience in construction and design contracts
Strong familiarity with AIA contracts and commercial real estate work
Experience in transactional work related to construction/design projects
Ability to take initiative and work independently
Background in general commercial contracting is a plus
