Construction Estimator
Job Summary
To support a growing estimating team, the remote Construction Estimator will prepare detailed estimates for federal and commercial construction projects ranging from $500K to $20M while collaborating closely with operations and subcontractors.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed estimates for various construction projects, reviewing drawings and specifications
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals while identifying scope gaps and potential cost impacts
- Coordinate with project management during preconstruction and participate in bid reviews with company leadership
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of construction estimating experience
- Experience estimating projects in the $500K-$20M range, with a preference for federal construction
- Strong understanding of construction means, methods, materials, and subcontractor scopes
- Proficiency with Procore and other estimating/project-management technology
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
