Construction Estimator/Preconstruction Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Construction Estimator/Preconstruction Manager responsible for leading estimating and preconstruction activities for large-scale energy projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development of Independent Cost Estimates (ICE), ROM estimates, and detailed bid estimates
• Manage subcontractor solicitation, bid leveling, negotiation, and award processes
• Conduct constructability reviews and value engineering to optimize project cost and schedule

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 7 years of experience in commercial or utility-scale construction estimating
• Ability to review confidential US security information
• Ability to travel 10-25% as required
• 5 years' experience with federal and non-federal construction projects
