Construction Loan Processor

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Construction Loan Processor will provide exceptional customer service and file quality by obtaining and verifying necessary documentation for underwriting while communicating with customers, builders, and loan officers for final loan approval.

Key responsibilities:

• Communicate with various companies to obtain vendor information and ensure documentation is complete and accurate
• Perform thorough reviews of borrower's credit, income, and assets before submitting files to underwriting
• Prepare loan approval summaries and manage the loan pipeline within allotted turn times

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3-5 years' residential mortgage processing experience
• Experience with renovation and/or new construction lending
• Familiarity with automated Loan Origination Systems, particularly Encompass LOS
• Knowledge of RESPA guidelines and mortgage-related regulations
