Construction Loan Processor

Job Summary

Providing exceptional customer service and file quality, the full-time remote Construction Loan Processor will manage documentation for underwriting, communicate with customers and vendors, and ensure compliance with mortgage regulations.

Key responsibilities:

• Obtain and verify necessary documentation for loan approval, including vendor information and borrower details
• Perform thorough reviews of borrower credit, income, and assets before submitting files to underwriting
• Prepare loan approval summaries and manage the loan pipeline to meet turn times while documenting all communications in the LOS system

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3-5 years of residential mortgage processing experience
• Experience with renovation and/or new construction lending
• Knowledge of RESPA guidelines and mortgage regulations
• Proficiency in automated Loan Origination Systems, particularly Encompass LOS
