Construction Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Construction Manager to oversee fiber optic construction projects and related systems maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage contract labor for aerial and underground construction and maintenance projects
• Coordinate with municipalities and utility companies for construction-related work in the right of way
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to safety practices and local construction requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering is preferred
• Minimum of five years of outside plant construction management experience required
• Advanced understanding of fiber optic network infrastructure builds and maintenance principles
• Must have a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
• Ability to adapt to changing conditions and plans with minimal supervision
