Construction Methods Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Construction Methods Specialist III.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate standardized construction standards and methods for Transmission, Distribution, and Substations
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to design, develop, and update work procedures and technical documents
• Lead the construction of equipment mock-ups and simulations for procedure development and training content

Required Qualifications

• Five years of construction experience in Electric Utility field work or a Bachelor of Science degree in a technical discipline with two years of relevant experience
• Experience in overhead and underground distribution, substations, secondary networks, metering, and transmission
• Ability to draft procedures and develop communication strategies for stakeholders
• Experience in supporting new technology initiatives within the electric utility sector
• Willingness to work during emergencies and after-hours as needed
