Construction Paralegal (NJ & NY Licensed)

Job Summary

Supporting litigation efforts tied to construction-related insurance matters, the hybrid Insurance Defense Paralegal (Construction) will manage case organization, advance deadlines, and assist attorneys with essential legal tasks across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of case management, including maintaining files, tracking deadlines, and supporting filings across PA, NJ, and NY courts
• Prepare and organize legal documents such as pleadings, discovery materials, and correspondence to support ongoing litigation matters
• Conduct research and gather case-related information to assist attorneys in building strong legal strategies

Required qualifications

• At least three years of relevant litigation experience within insurance defense, personal injury, or similar practice areas
• Hands-on experience with NJ and NY e-filing systems is required, with PA court exposure considered a plus
• Strong ability to manage a large caseload with excellent organization, prioritization, and analytical thinking skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently and contribute within a team setting
• Proficiency with legal technology, including case management systems and digital dictation tools, is preferred
