Construction Project Engineer

Job Summary

Collaborating within a dynamic team, the full-time hourly Construction Project Engineer will support project coordination, manage documentation, and uphold safety standards while working on Distributed Energy Renewables initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Request for Proposal (RFP) processes and track job progress while projecting staffing needs
• Coordinate equipment procurement and assist in the development of Scope of Work for subcontractors
• Create and manage project documentation, including Requests for Information (RFI) and Operations and Maintenance Manuals

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management, or a comparable field, or equivalent work experience
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, contracts, and proposals
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project; working knowledge of SharePoint preferred
• Knowledge of construction concepts required
• Customer service or office administration experience preferred
