Construction Project Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing portfolio of large-scale projects, the remote Construction Project Engineer will lead project costing efforts, develop turnkey estimates, and coordinate with various teams while working on a contract basis for 6 months to 1 year.
Key responsibilities
- Develop turnkey estimates for Building Automation projects and prioritize tasks to meet sales schedules
- Review customer specifications and drawings to ensure technical compatibility and competitiveness of quotes
- Attend pre-bid meetings and site walk-throughs, while consulting with Operations, Engineering, and Sales to optimize project costs
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in construction project engineering or a related field
- Proficient knowledge of system applications and product knowledge relevant to project costing
- Experience in developing detailed scope letters and system designs
- Ability to analyze and document technical terms and conditions
- Familiarity with subcontractor coordination and vendor relationship management
