Construction Safety Expert

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Construction Site Safety Expert (Testifying Expert) to provide professional opinions and testimony on complex technical matters within the construction and building industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the designated Expert Witness for lawsuits and insurance claims, providing testimony during depositions, arbitration, and trials
• Conduct building inspections and property condition assessments, documenting findings and preparing inspection summaries
• Analyze construction and legal documents, prepare technical reports, and collaborate with clients and team members throughout the project lifecycle

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of construction experience or a blend of relevant education and field experience
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or a related field (advanced degree or professional licensure preferred)
• Prior experience as a designated Expert Witness in construction-related litigation
• Applicable licenses and certifications that support expertise
• A strong ability to think critically and analyze problems effectively
