Construction Sourcing Specialist

Job Summary

To support Product Development Services clients, the full-time remote Construction Sourcing Specialist will develop and execute sourcing strategies for construction materials and services, manage vendor relationships, and oversee procurement operations to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for construction materials and services, including managing competitive bidding processes
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, evaluate vendor performance, and conduct periodic business reviews to identify improvement opportunities
• Manage end-to-end procurement processes, ensuring compliance with sourcing policies and negotiating optimal pricing and terms

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain roles, preferably within construction or real estate industries
• Proficiency in procurement systems and tools (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa) and advanced Excel skills for spend analysis
• Strong negotiation skills and an analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize data for actionable insights
• Understanding of contract law and commercial terms, along with the ability to read and interpret technical documentation
