Construction Underwriter

Job Summary

To support a growing construction team, the remote or hybrid Construction Underwriter will be responsible for underwriting according to established guidelines, reviewing submissions for risk alignment, and generating new business through broker collaboration.

Key responsibilities:

• Review submissions to ensure alignment with risk appetite and business strategy
• Generate new business by cultivating relationships with brokers and prospective clients
• Analyze complex risks and manage underwriting transactions while maintaining service standards

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• Three to five years of relevant industry experience
• Expert skills in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Ability to adapt to change in a rapidly growing company environment
