Construction Underwriter II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Construction Underwriter II to join their operations team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform complete risk assessments including borrower, market, collateral, and construction
• Prepare comprehensive credit memos summarizing all findings and recommend loan structures
• Underwrite various loan types in accordance with company guidelines and analyze project feasibility

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of underwriting experience in Multi-Unit and Multi-use residential construction
• Familiarity with entity structures such as LLCs, Corporations, and Trusts
• Experience with Loan Origination Systems is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Urban Development, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Risk Management is a plus
• Ability to work independently in a deadline-driven, high-volume environment
