Job Summary
Responsible for underwriting professional and pollution liability for contractors and environmental service providers, the full-time remote or hybrid Construction Underwriting AVP will review submissions, generate new business, and analyze complex risks in alignment with company guidelines.
Key responsibilities:
- Review submissions to ensure alignment with risk appetite and business strategy
- Generate new business by collaborating with brokers and clients to innovate CPP product deployment
- Analyze complex risks and manage underwriting transactions while ensuring compliance with service standards
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- 5 to 10 years of related insurance experience
- Advanced knowledge of Construction Professional & Environmental Lines
- Established network of broker and client contacts
- Experience with digital platforms and driving results through automation
