Consultant

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Consultant will advise clients on benefit strategy, including prescription benefit program design, vendor selection, and contract management while conducting analyses and preparing client-ready reports.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analyses of benefit plans and financial proposals, preparing recommendations for clients
• Support clients through the full RFP lifecycle, from requirements gathering to final vendor selection
• Monitor contracts and performance metrics, identifying opportunities for cost savings and improved member outcomes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, finance, public health, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant professional certifications are a plus
• Prior consulting, underwriting, or benefit strategy experience in healthcare, pharmacy benefits, or insurance is required
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience in financial data and performance metrics analysis
• Proficiency in client-facing consulting skills, including stakeholder communication and presentation development
• Ability to manage projects and processes, including RFP coordination and contract performance follow-through
