Consultant Copyeditor

Job Summary

Seeking meticulous Consultant Copyeditors for a fully remote, part-time contract position, who will manage the editing and proofreading of nearly 23,000 pages of content across various formats while adhering to strict style and brand guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Edit and proofread documents in Google Docs and Microsoft Word for clarity, accuracy, and grammar
• Ensure adherence to established style and branding guidelines across all edited content
• Collaborate with project managers and content creators to meet quality standards and deadlines

Required qualifications

• Excellent understanding of grammar, syntax, punctuation, and style
• Deep professional knowledge of CMOS
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Google Docs, including RegEx for find and replace queries
• Ability to edit across different content types and formats
• Bachelor's degree in English, communications, journalism, education, or a relevant field
