Consultant for Holistic Reparations

Job Summary

To support a growing initiative focused on holistic reparations in cases of sexual violence, the part-time Consultant for Holistic Reparations will conduct comprehensive research, engage with stakeholders, and draft a position paper while working remotely in the LAC region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop an inception note outlining methodology, analytical framework, and work plan
• Conduct a comprehensive desk review of existing reports and analyze relevant international and regional human rights standards
• Prepare a research study and position paper articulating principles, standards, and recommendations for survivor-centered reparations

Required qualifications

• Advanced university degree in law, human rights, gender studies, international relations, or a related field
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in human rights, gender equality, and reparations, particularly related to sexual violence
• Demonstrated expertise in conducting legal, policy, and qualitative research
• Proven experience drafting high-quality analytical and policy documents
• Strong knowledge of international and regional human rights frameworks related to gender-based violence and reparations
