Job Summary
Providing strategic consulting and program management support, the part-time Consultant for the U.S. Forest Service will facilitate project teams, apply business improvement principles, and support knowledge transfer activities while working remotely during regular business hours.
Key responsibilities
- Apply business improvement and reengineering principles to natural resources projects
- Facilitate project teams and maintain focus on project execution and objectives
- Support knowledge transfer activities through group facilitation, training, and interviewing
Required qualifications
- Authorization to permanently work in the United States without sponsorship
- Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience or Master's degree with 4 years of experience in relevant fields
- Experience in facilitation, management consulting, or business improvement techniques
- Proficiency in methodology development, change management, and performance measurement
- Ability to lead discussions and meetings with customer staff
