Job Summary
Owning strategic relationships with the largest national broker and consulting firms, the remote Consultant Relations Vice President will define and drive the business-development plan for a national portfolio while orchestrating cross-functional resources to convert consultant relationships into closed distribution at scale.
Key responsibilities
- Manage relationships with national broker and consulting firms, becoming a trusted advisor and setting Garner's presence with top distributors
- Develop and execute a business-development strategy to convert consultant relationships into distribution and data-licensing deals
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to support major partnerships and integrate consultant insights into Garner's market strategy
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in employee-benefits consulting or broker roles with a national scope and an established network across major firms
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to design goals and metrics for tracking contracting targets and closure rates
- Deep expertise in the benefits-consulting landscape, recognized as an educator and thought partner to sophisticated buyers
- Experience orchestrating cross-functional resources to drive business development and secure executive-level buy-in
- Proven track record of generating and advancing business development pipelines with minimal oversight
