Consultant Review Officer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Consultant Review Officer who will conduct impartial reviews of Requests for Review submitted by claimants.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently review Requests for Review submitted by claimants regarding Claims Administrator decisions
• Assess claim decisions objectively and determine whether to confirm, reverse, or vary the original decision
• Document review outcomes clearly and ensure reviews are conducted fairly and consistently

Qualifications & Requirements

• Required: Bachelor of Laws
• 10+ years of experience in litigation and class action settlements
• Experience interacting with claimants and claims administrators
• Cross-jurisdictional perspective and understanding of dispute resolution and claims adjudication
• Must be authorized to work within Canada
