Consulting Associate

Job Summary

To deliver value-added services for clients, the part-time remote Consulting Associate will manage operational assessments, advisory engagements, and litigation support while leveraging residential mortgage experience to perform qualitative assessments of lender and servicer operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed reviews and risk assessments of residential mortgage entities, focusing on origination and lending
• Gather and analyze due diligence documentation, compliance policies, and operational procedures
• Create comprehensive operational due diligence reports summarizing identified risks and issues

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of 6+ years of industry experience, including 1+ years in a Senior Associate role or equivalent
• Strong residential mortgage experience in origination, lending, and underwriting
• Familiarity with current origination laws, regulations, and industry best practices
• Experience conducting or overseeing compliance audits
