Consulting Systems Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing data management team, the remote Consulting Systems Engineer will deliver technical expertise throughout the customer journey, including solution design, technical discovery, and proof-of-concept execution while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive enterprise sales success.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a technical advisor and trusted partner to enterprise customers and channel partners throughout the sales process
• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer environments, business drivers, and compliance requirements
• Design and manage Proof of Concept (POC) engagements, ensuring successful technical validation and customer adoption

Required qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• 8+ years of relevant experience in pre-sales, sales engineering, or solutions architecture roles
• Expertise in enterprise cybersecurity, storage, networking, or cloud solutions
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, data protection, and risk management concepts
• Experience with cloud infrastructure environments, including AWS, Azure, and GCP
