Consumer Collections Specialist

Job Summary

Contacting consumers regarding outstanding insurance premiums, the full-time Consumer Collections Specialist will negotiate payment arrangements, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Contact consumers via phone, email, and mail about past-due accounts
• Negotiate payment plans in accordance with company policies
• Document all communications and account updates accurately

Required qualifications:

• Previous collections or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to remain professional and empathetic during challenging conversations
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems
• Bilingual skills are a plus, but not mandatory
