Consumer Default Compliance Officer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Compliance Officer - Consumer Default.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the subject matter expert for assigned laws and regulations related to consumer default
• Provide oversight and monitoring of line of business processes, procedures, risks, and controls
• Assist with regulatory compliance exams and participate in various projects to mitigate risk

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree required; Juris Doctorate or CRCM preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in financial services compliance or comparable legal experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of consumer default servicing regulatory requirements
• Experience and knowledge of federal and private education loans preferred
• Strong relationship management and leadership skills
