Job Summary

A company is looking for a Consumer Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze financial information to assess risk in extending credit or lending money
• Perform cash flow analysis and make decisions based on creditworthiness
• Prepare loan packages in compliance with departmental policies and assist with credit-related projects

Required Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in accounting, tax, or financial industry preferred; or 2+ years in administration and clerical duties
• College coursework in business administration, finance, accounting, mathematics, or related fields preferred
• Familiarity with credit reports and personal/corporate tax returns
• Ability to prioritize and multitask under tight deadlines
• Strong organizational, critical thinking, and analytical skills
