Consumer Underwriter

Job Summary

Driving daily territory performance, the full-time remote Consumer Underwriter will manage dealer relationships, uphold risk management principles, and ensure compliance with underwriting policies while tackling complex territory maintenance and high-impact opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Increase dealer portfolio revenue through sound underwriting judgment
• Build and cultivate strong relationships with dealers while demonstrating market awareness
• Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with underwriting policies and procedures

Required qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in underwriting or financial services
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Knowledge of the auto finance industry and consumer credit
• Ability to perform technical-based activities
• Strong time management skills and ability to work independently
