Job Summary

To support the Orthopaedic Group, the full-time Contact Center Specialist will manage incoming patient calls, schedule appointments for multiple physicians, and provide exceptional customer service in a remote work environment following comprehensive training.

Key responsibilities:
  • Answer multi-line calls, ensuring patient satisfaction and accurate appointment scheduling while verifying patient information
  • Act as an advocate for patients by providing guidance on scheduling, registration, and billing inquiries, while following up on incomplete records
  • Research and resolve billing inquiries, establish payment plans, and assist patients with MyUPMC account access and telemedicine appointments
Required qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of general customer service experience
  • Act 34 clearance
