Job Summary
To support the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, the full-time Contact Center Specialist will manage patient scheduling, address inquiries related to registration and billing, and ensure patient satisfaction while working remotely after an initial in-person orientation.
Key responsibilities:
- Answer multi-line calls, schedule appointments, and verify patient information to ensure data accuracy
- Provide guidance on scheduling, registration, and billing inquiries while advocating for patients' needs
- Research and resolve billing inquiries and follow up on unpaid account balances, establishing payment plans as necessary
Required qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One year of general customer service experience
- Act 34 clearance with renewal
