Job Summary
Providing essential support for patient inquiries, the full-time Contact Center Specialist will manage scheduling, registration, and billing questions in a remote capacity, ensuring high levels of patient satisfaction during daylight hours, Monday through Friday.
Key responsibilities:
- Answer multi-line telephone calls, focusing on patient satisfaction and first call resolution while accurately scheduling appointments
- Act as a patient advocate by providing guidance on registration, billing, and claims inquiries, and ensuring data integrity in the patient records
- Research and resolve billing inquiries, establish payment plans, and assist patients with access issues for their MyUPMC accounts
Required qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two years of general customer service or call center experience
- Experience with multi-line phone systems
- Previous health insurance experience preferred
