Containers EKS Specialist
Job Summary
Leading the architectural assessment and consolidation of EKS environments, the full-time Containers EKS Specialist will manage the migration of workloads, define network strategies, and establish security postures while working remotely in the USA.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive audits of existing EKS clusters and formulate a consolidation roadmap for optimized multi-tenant architecture
- Design and implement enterprise platform architecture, including CNI and service mesh strategies, and establish a standardized "Golden Cluster" architecture
- Define governance frameworks for EKS lifecycle management, disaster recovery, and CI/CD infrastructure to support scalable operations
Required qualifications
- Deep expertise in designing multi-tenant, highly available EKS environments and Kubernetes governance
- Advanced understanding of AWS networking, including VPC topologies and CNI implementations
- Authoritative knowledge of AWS IAM integration with Kubernetes and security strategies
- Proven experience in architecting enterprise ingress patterns and service mesh architectures
- Advanced Terraform expertise for designing scalable infrastructure as code frameworks
