Job Summary

To launch a claims career from home, the full-time Content Claims Specialist will act as a third-party intermediary between insurers' property adjusters and policyholders, handling valuations for total loss content claims and processing claims accurately using a web-based platform.

Key responsibilities
  • Conduct research and pricing of contents based on valuation methodologies and submit completed claims reports to insurance adjusters
  • Manage assigned claim files, ensuring consistent and quality turnaround of all claims in accordance with productivity standards
  • Maintain accurate documentation and administrative tasks, including recording time spent on each claim file and effective communication with stakeholders
Required qualifications
  • Secondary School diploma
  • Prior background or experience in the property claims industry is considered an asset
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and Outlook
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn and adapt to new technology
