Content Counsel

Job Summary

To support a leading global social media and technology platform, the contract Creator Content Counsel will provide legal guidance on content licensing, creator partnerships, and commercial agreements while working remotely for approximately 40 hours per week over a 6-month duration.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial content agreements, including licensing and partnership contracts
• Support legal reviews of promotions and marketing campaigns, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify legal risks and develop solutions for new content initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) and active bar membership in good standing
• 5-7 years of commercial legal experience, particularly in content licensing and partnerships
• Experience supporting social media platforms or digital media companies
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills with a focus on practical legal advice
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
