Job Summary
Transforming complex investigative findings into compelling digital content, the full-time Content Producer and Investigations Coordinator will research, write, publish, and maintain engaging website content that inspires action for animal rights while managing multiple high-priority projects remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Research, write, edit, and publish content covering investigations, campaigns, and animal rights issues while ensuring accuracy and quality
- Utilize SEO and digital content optimization best practices to maximize visibility and engagement across PETA websites
- Monitor content performance using analytics tools and collaborate with stakeholders to align content with strategic objectives
Required qualifications
- College degree in journalism, communications, marketing, digital media, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum two years of experience in creating and publishing digital content in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional writing, editing, and research skills with a commitment to accuracy and credibility
- Experience with WordPress or other content management systems and analyzing content performance using Google Analytics
- Strong understanding of SEO practices and proficiency in using AI tools for content creation and optimization
