Job Summary
As a full-time Content Protection Representative working remotely, the candidate will assess and review UMG's digital and physical assets to detect infringement, handle inquiries from internal business units, and collaborate with international trade groups to enforce rights in the fast-paced music industry.
Key responsibilities:
- Assess and review online uses of UMG digital and physical assets to identify rights infringements
- Handle inquiries from internal business units and labels, including Spanish-speaking labels
- Collaborate with international trade groups to enforce UMG's rights and stay updated on digital trends in the recording industry
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 0-1+ years of work experience in the music industry, digital media, entertainment, technology, or related fields
- Familiarity with anti-piracy, copyright, or trademarks preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Significant understanding of digital technologies, especially music platforms and mobile apps
