Job Summary

Content Specialist, this is a 12-month remote contract position focused on supporting semantic markup, particularly for non-book and modular content, requiring expertise in XML standards.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and maintain markup standards for non-book and modular content
Support the evolution of semantic markup models in complex environments
Translate business needs into enforceable technical standards

Required Qualifications

Deep hands-on experience with XML standards, including XML BITS 2.0
Experience with XLIFF, XSLT, and QTI is a plus
Proven experience in modular content architectures and reuse strategies
Strong understanding of component-based publishing
Demonstrated ability to facilitate stakeholder communication
