Job Summary

A company is looking for a Content Taxonomist to execute an enterprise taxonomy strategy for a financial services firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute the enterprise-wide taxonomy strategy to improve content management and reuse
• Lead the design of taxonomies and metadata schemas, ensuring the taxonomy remains the "source of truth.
• Draft policies for taxonomy control and collaborate with stakeholders on alignment and training

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science, Information Management, or a related field
• 5-10 years of experience in taxonomy development, content strategy, or information architecture
• Strong proficiency with PoolParty (Semantic Suite)
• Expertise in designing and maintaining complex taxonomies and metadata schemas
• Proven ability to translate complex data concepts into actionable strategies
