Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Blog Content Writer & Editor on a freelance basis, the remote position will manage a 4-6 month content refresh cycle, focusing on auditing, rewriting, and optimizing existing blog posts for clarity, engagement, and AI discoverability.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and execute a continuous rotation schedule to rewrite and refine existing blog content
• Update statistics and examples to ensure all copy is engaging and aligns with brand voice
• Apply Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) principles to enhance content visibility for AI engines

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in digital copywriting, blogging, or editorial roles
• Practical understanding of AEO and GEO for AI-friendly content creation
• Strong portfolio showcasing clear, engaging, and well-researched long-form content
• Proven ability to manage high-volume content updates or editorial calendars independently
• Expert-level command of English grammar and structural editing
