Continuing Education Instructor

Job Summary

Supporting educators in their professional learning journey, the part-time Continuing Education Instructor will evaluate online coursework and provide constructive feedback to teachers in the areas of MTSS and the Science of Reading, working remotely with variable hours based on seasonal demand.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate online coursework submitted by educators and provide meaningful, specific feedback
• Log in to an online learning environment daily to assess coursework within specified turnaround times
• Perform additional evaluation-related tasks as required, adjusting to varying workloads during peak periods

Required qualifications

• Master's Degree in Education or a related field
• 5+ years of Pre-K-12 classroom experience within the last decade, relevant to the course topic
• Demonstrated expertise in lesson planning, assessments, and/or instructional materials
• Experience using online teaching and learning systems and proficiency with Google Suite
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education, with knowledge of culturally responsive teaching practices
