Job Summary
Supporting the Ryder Continuous Improvement culture, the full-time Continuous Improvement Engineer will leverage data analytics and engineering methodologies to implement process improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost while working remotely from Indianapolis, IN.
Key responsibilities
- Collect and analyze data to identify process gaps and implement continuous improvement plans
- Manage CI projects and support automation initiatives to enhance business results
- Facilitate Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen Events, ensuring effective execution and follow-up
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain with three years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with one year of experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Access, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Basic knowledge of Lean/TPS core tools and processes
- Understanding of core engineering and data analysis functions related to warehousing and transportation
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems and design tools is preferred
