Contract Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accountant II - Contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing effective month-end and quarter-end close processes
• Prepare month-end journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Engage in revenue operations, including invoice creation and collections

Required Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in accounting policies and practices
• Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting policies, preferably from Big 4 or a technology company
• Experience with a large-scale ERP system, such as NetSuite
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for maintaining complex spreadsheets
• Solid understanding of the accounting life cycle for startups and growing businesses
