Job Summary
Supporting complex procurement and subcontract management duties, the remote Contract Administrator will manage procurement activities, collaborate with legal for contract negotiations, and conduct market research to identify suppliers.
Key responsibilities
- Manage procurement activities focusing on performance, change control, quality, cost, and schedule management
- Work with Requestors to understand procurement requirements and review statements of work and specifications
- Conduct price analyses, issue purchase orders, and monitor order progress to ensure on-time delivery
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in Procurement and Contract Management
- Experience with federal government contracting and client-supplier relations
- Strong understanding of quality assurance and export control requirements
- Technical background preferred, with experience in purchasing fabricated equipment and IT software
