Contract Assistant Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant Controller (contract position).

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly and year-end close processes, including account reconciliations and audit readiness
• Lead and mentor a tenured accounting team across AP, AR, and GL functions
• Review and approve AP/AR processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• CPA strongly preferred
• 5-10+ years of progressive accounting experience with supervisory responsibilities
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team
