Job Summary

A company is looking for a Contract Bookkeeper to join their accounting team for project-based cleanup tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Clean up bookkeeping for new clients, streamline processes, and prepare for handoff to monthly bookkeepers
Work with varying degrees of backwork and deliver closed books by specified deadlines
Collaborate with team members during core hours to ensure efficient project completion

Required Qualifications

3+ years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping
3+ years of experience with QuickBooks Online
Experience with Double or Canopy is a plus
Exposure to U.S. taxes is a plus
Familiarity with various software applications and ability to learn new programs quickly
