Contract Controller

Job Summary

Leading day-to-day accounting and finance operations, the full-time Contract Controller will oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, general accounting, financial reporting, and month-end close activities while working remotely or in a hybrid model.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, and general ledger processes
• Ensure accurate financial reporting and timely month-end close activities
• Collaborate closely with the CFO and executive leadership to provide strategic financial oversight

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership or supervisory responsibility
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting best practices
• Experience in managing accounting teams and day-to-day operations
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation is a plus
• Experience in construction, general contracting, manufacturing, or project-based environments is highly preferred
